"Rome believed that creating something worthy of envy is commendable" - As is human nature, most people would rather tear down the work rather than build something equally commendable, i.e. cancel culture. I think it's necessary to possess intrinsic motivation when creating, and accept that haters are gonna hate
It’s always easier to criticize than create. But even if the criticisms are right, at the end of the day, they are dust in the wind while the Colosseum still stands
